GAS WATER HEATERS
The gas water heaters that we install all have the new Smart Shield Sensor System. This became code in the summer of 2004. With this new regulation brought on by the ANSI and CSA all gas water heaters became much more expensive. Our installed price for a basic 6 year gas water heater is as low as $725.00 installed including the required permit.

IN THE PROVINCE OF BC ALL WATER HEATERS ARE REQUIRED BY CODE TO HAVE A VACUUM BREAKER INSTALLED. A VACUUM BREAKER PREVENTS THE WATER FROM LEAVING THE TANK IF THERE IS A BREAK IN THE SYSTEM, IF THE WATER LEVEL IN THE TANK GOES DOWN IT COULD BECOME A FIRE HAZZARD IF THE POWER IS ON WITH NO WATER TO BE HEATED! THE COST OF A VACUUM BREAKER IN MOST CASES IS $50.00 INSTALLED
